Directions:
Step 1: Get out your eggs. Make sure none of them are cracked. Step 2: Get out your pot. It needs to be big enough for the eggs to fit into without touching . Step 3: Put your eggs in the pot. Careful! Don't drop them in there. We don't want them cracked. Step 4: Put water in the pot. You will need cold water. Make sure the water covers the eggs, but don't put too much water in there. Step 5: Turn the stove on Medium-Low. Make sure you have an adult nearby. Step 6: Set your timer. Set it to 13 minutes for hard boiled eggs. Now sit back and wait. Don't touch the eggs. The stove is hot! Step 7: When the timer goes off, turn the stove off. Get an adult with an oven mitt to help you move the pot to the sink (the pot is super hot!). Turn the water on cold and put the eggs under the cold water. Leave the faucet running for about 2 minutes. The eggs are ready when they are cool to the touch. Step 8: Crack the eggs! Use the back of a metal spoon to smack the egg so it is cracked all the way around. Don't be afraid! You can't hurt the egg. Smack it! Step 9: Open the egg. Use the edge of the spoon to carefully slide into the cracked open areas and slip the spoon between the shell and the egg. Scoop the shell off all the way around. Watch out for little bits of shell that stick on! Step 10: Add some salt and pepper and eat those eggs! If you've made hard boiled eggs using my method, comment below and tell me how they tasted!
